Poem, Do Not Worry

Do Not Worry

When worry knocks upon your door,
And fear creeps in to claim the floor,
Remember this: the Lord provides,
In His great love, your soul abides.

The birds that soar on feathered wings,
They neither toil, nor store their things.
Yet every need, He does fulfill,
By His good grace and sovereign will.

The lilies bloom in radiant dress,
They do not strive, nor seek success.
Yet clothed are they in beauty rare,
A masterpiece beyond compare.

Then why should you, with anxious heart,
Let burdens tear your peace apart?
For if He cares for birds and flowers,
How much more you, His love empowers?

Seek first His kingdom, walk His way,
And trust Him more with each new day.
Do not worry; His Word is true,
His boundless love will carry you.

This poem is inspired by Matthew 6:25-34, encouraging trust in God’s provision and the peace that comes from resting in His care.
